I love the new look of the blog.

Thanks ...

Well this is another "holding" look to be honest. It's a bit tidier than the last, and nice and basic (which is what I want) but I'm not 100% wedded to it yet.

Real question, what I'm doing with Platform Wars? ... I'm really doing a lot with Smart Disorganized at the moment (what with Mind Traffic Control and some other stuff I'm getting ready to announce). That's what gets me fired up at the moment.

And I'm really happy with Composing (both the look and the way it ticks along, the content, even when it's just links, they're the "right" links for the blog and for me at the moment.)

But Platform Wars is falling into "me too" territory. Not that the stuff I'm tracking here isn't incredibly important and exciting (the computer industry is going through a massive transformation, and I think I'm keeping on top of it) but I'm not sure I'm really *adding* anything. My own belief in YASN-as-platform (widgets in social-networks) and the explosion of the PC into the device-swarm are becoming truisms. Yeah, I could see this was happening. But so what? Many people can see it's happening now.

But I'm not a practitioner here. Not the way I am with Mind Traffic Control. Smart Disorganized is my place for developing cool stuff.

I don't have a platform to sell, and I'm not a systematic early adopter.

Nor am I a very good commentator. I have the same links everyone has, and my bursts of good analysis are too infrequent to keep people hooked.

I have, one slightly left-field move I'm going to make in the next couple of weeks, with this blog, but it's a bit hanging at the moment.

Maybe a new look will freshen things up a bit. And give me a new direction. Let's see.
